Everyone's favorite paranormal forensic pathologist is set to return full-time to cable television for the first time in a decade.

Gillian Anderson, who played Dr. Dana Scully on THE X-FILES, has officially signed on to lead an untitled conspiracy theory pilot for NBC, opposite 666 PARK AVENUE's Rachael Taylor.

The project comes from Rand Ravich (LIFE) and follows the unravelling of an international crisis that all stars when the President's adopted son - and a number of his classmates - are kidnapped.

Anderson is set to play the aunt of one of the classmates, while Taylor will play Anderson's sister, a Secret Service agent and the biological mother of the President's son.

The acclaimed actress, who has removed herself from the spotlight in recent years, is also set for a guest role on NBC's HANNIBAL, playing the therapist of the infamous psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen).

Taylor, meanwhile, recently starred in ABC's 666 PARK AVENUE, after leading the failed CHARLIE'S ANGELS reboot.
