Game 2 Delivers Second-Highest Rated NBA Finals Ever on ABC

The 2016 NBA FINALS is the second-highest rated ever on ABC through two games, according to overnights from Nielsen. The Golden State Warriors-Cleveland Cavaliers rematch is averaging a 12.4 metered market rating.

Last night's NBA FINALS Game 2 - the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by the largest margin of victory ever for an NBA FINALS Game 2, 33 points (110-77), generated a strong 11.8 overnight rating, tying it for the third-highest rated NBA FINALS Game 2 ever on ABC.

The NBA FINALS on ABC is expected to win the night across all of television for the 50th consecutive time. Last night's Game 2 on ABC peaked with a 13.2 rating from 9-9:15 p.m. and again from 10-10:15 p.m.

Last night's Game 2 was the third-most watched NBA game ever on WatchESPN. It generated 43,234,000 total minutes streamed, 875,000 unique viewers and an average minute audience of 267,000.
