Episode two of the second season of GSN's hit series SKIN WARS, hosted by actress Rebecca Romijn, delivered the show's highest ratings ever this week. Compared to last week's hotly-anticipated premiere, the series saw a 112% increase in W18-49, 82% growth in W25-54, and +44% in Total Viewers. Compared to all of last season, the show was up 68% in W25-54, 19% in W18-49 and 29% in Total Viewers. It was also the most-watched telecast for an original series this year among P18-49, W18-49, P25-54, W25-54 and Total Viewers.

Also benefitting from the large SKIN WARS tune-in was GSN's IDIOTEST, hosted by Ben Gleib. The 10pm episode of IDIOTEST was up 46% in W25-54, 66% in W18-49 and 32% in Total Viewers, compared to its season two average. It was also the show's highest-rated episode of the season.

Last night's primetime success for GSN only adds more fuel to its fire, as the network is on-track to have its best June ever in their 20-year history. Before adding in last night's numbers, GSN's 8-11pm primetime was already up 36% in W25-54, 70% in W18-49 and 28% in Total Viewers, compared to June 2014. GSN has also had its highest month ever in Total Viewers in four of the past five months.

SKIN WARS, which airs Wednesdays at 9:00pm ET/PT, is an hour-long skill-based competition series that seeks to find the most skillful, accomplished and versatile body painters in the country. Television's first-ever body painting competition, the 10-episode series is hosted by actress Rebecca Romijn. The show also boasts an impressive panel of judges, including legendary entertainer and expert in transformation, RuPaul, and body painting icons Craig Tracy and Robin Slonina. The winner of the competition will receive a $100,000 cash prize, an all-expense paid trip for two to the World Body Painting Festival in Austria, and a nationally-distributed Royal and Langnickel custom brush collection with their name on it.

SKIN WARS is executive produced by Michael Levitt of Michael Levitt Productions ("Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List," "Ask Oprah's All Stars," Billboard Music Awards), Jill Goularte, Colleen Sands and Rebecca Romijn. Craig Tracy and Robin Slonina also serve as producers.
