GREAT GATSBY Gets Tie-In Novel Cover & 2 New Promo PicsA peek at the splashy new Art Deco-inspired cover for F. Scott Fitzgerald's seminal novel THE GREAT GATSBY has been released along with two heretofore unseen production shots from the upcoming 2013 film adaptation of the classic property, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire.

The impossibly glitzy and star-bedecked new visage for the tome acts as an obvious tie-in with visonary stage and screen director Baz Luhrmann's highly anticipated 3D feature film version of the celebrated source material, finally coming to theaters in May after many delays due to re-shoots and further development of the purportedly revolutionary 3D techonology employed in it.

Additionally, the Production Company has released two new still images from the film this week, as well, to add even more to the building buzz for the risky 1920s paean.

The first of the newly released photos shows Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby and Carey Mulligan as Daisy cutting a rug amidst a wild reverie of 1920s debauch, complete with flappers and jazz babies of all walks of life living it up (and lapping it up, too).

The second photo depicts Leonardo DiCaprio as a deboinair Gatsby and Tobey Maguire as mesmerized Tom Buchanan seated at tables sharing drinks at The Angry Diamond nightclub as they prepare take in the night's rousing entertainment and ensuing festivities.

View the new book cover and the two new promotional images for the film below.
