GLEE's Ryan Murphy Pays Tribute to Cory Monteith on Twitter
This week marked one year since the tragic and unexpected death of Glee star Cory Monteith. Over the last several days, Glee cast members, including Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Darren Criss as well as fans of the show have paid tribute to the fallen star on social media.
On Sunday, July 13th Glee co-creator and writer Ryan Murphy tweeted the simple words 'Miss You' along with an image displaying Monteith's name and life span. (at left)
Prior to his passing, Monteith starred in the film "Monte Carlo," opposite Leighton Meester, Selena Gomez and Katie Cassidy. His television credits included a lead role on the series "Kaya" and a recurring guest-star role on "Kyle XY." He also made numerous guest appearances on television shows, including "Smallville," "Supernatural," "Stargate," "Flash Gordon" and "Interns." Additionally, he starred in the 2007 television movie "Hybrid."
Monteith's film credits include "Final Destination 3," "The Invisible," "Deck the Halls" and "Whisper."
