On Monday, Publisher Little, Brown and Company announced that Colfer officially has a multi-book deal with the company. There are two more 'Land of Stories' installments in the future, with books four and five planned for July 2015 and July 2016, respectively. The two books are currently untitled.

Chris Colfer has also agreed to write two spin-off picture books based on the 'Land of Stories' characters, along with two companion volumes for the series. The additional books will be released in a holiday set for next year.

Additionally, Colfer is working on a coming-of-age, young adult novel about a young actor embarking on a cross-country road trip.
