In an interview with US Weekly, Blake Jenner opened up on how the Glee cast is managing following the tragic death of their friend and co-star Cory Monteith. The actor died on July 13th as a result of an accidental drug overdose.

"It's been very positive [to be back on the Glee set]. I think it's better that we are together than separate," he shared. "We are all family."

Jenner was last summer's winner on Oxygen's 'The Glee Project'. The victory earned him the recurring role of Ryder Lynn on the FOX musical comedy.

The actor also shared his belief that Glee fans will be content with the upcoming tribute episode which honors both Monteith and his fictional character Finn Hudson. "I think it will be a group effort, and we will all come together, so it will be good," he said.

It was recently reported that the fifth season will begin with a two-part Beatles-themed tribute, before moving on to the difficult subject of Monteith's passing in the third episode.

Glee's season premiere will air on FOX on September 26.
