Eonline reports that Ryan Murphy and his husband David Miller welcomed the arrival of their son on Christmas Eve. The couple revealed the news to family and friends via email.

The announcement reads: "Logan Phineas Miller Murphy, Born December 24, 2012 9:47 a.m.," They also revealed that the baby weighed in at 6.6 pounds and was 21 inches in height. The email included a photo of baby Logan snuggled inside a Christmas stocking.

Murphy is a film and television screenwriter, director, and producer who is best known for creating/co-creating the television series Popular, Nip/Tuck, Glee, American Horror Story. His latest comedy for NBC, 'The New Normal' stars Andrew Rannells, Justin Bartha and Ellen Barkin.
