Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company, announced that OFF BEAT, a new, original half-hour comedy program featuring some of today's funniest music-themed viral videos, will premiere on Friday, September 14th at 10:00pm EST. Hosted by comedian Mike E. Winfield and featuring San Diego comic Mal Hall as his sidekick, Off Beat is a 30-minute weekly mash-up of the funniest and most outrageous music-themed Internet videos and viewer-created clips. The series, consisting of 12 episodes, will run through November.

Since his debut on The Late Show with David Letterman and, most recently, his recurring role on NBC's The Office, Mike E. Winfield has been on the fast track to stardom within the comedy world. A Baltimore native currently based out of Sacramento, Winfield has won various comedy competitions throughout his budding career and can currently be seen headlining Comedy Clubs and theaters across the country.

Off Beat is produced by FishBowl Worldwide Media and Executive Producers Vin Di Bona, Bruce Gersh, Susan Levison and Beth Greenwald. Mike Gibbons (Tosh.0) is a creative consultant and the showrunner is Steve Melcher (The Showbiz Show with David Spade, Penn & Teller's Bulls! and Impractical Jokers).

Joining Off Beat on Fuse's new Friday nights, Video on Trial: Special Videos Unit returns at 10:30pm EST with 12 episodes of culture vultures, including comedians Dan St. Germain, Sherrod Small and Helen Hong, dissecting some of today's hottest music videos. The music game can be a harsh business, and with a crowded landscape of music videos both good and bad, Video on Trial offers a uniquely comedic take on musical criticism. Video on Trial: Special Videos Unit is produced in-house by Fuse Studios.

Fuse is a national television network that provides a unique, multi-platform destination for music lovers, to connect fans with their favorite artists and deliver the most comprehensive coverage of the music industry today. Off Beat and Video on Trial: Special Videos Unit are part of Fuse's expanding original music programming lineup that includes original series such as Top 20 Countdown; Popped; Funny or Die's Billy on the Street featuring comedian Billy Eichner; Fuse's one-on-one artist interview show, On The Record; and Fuse's live concert series, which has featured the biggest names in the industry, including Florence and The Machine, Drake, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, Maroon 5, Jay-Z, John Mayer, Kanye West and Dave Matthews Band.
