Freeform Announces 'Boss Girls' Two-Day Programming Event Focusing on Girl Power

I am woman, hear me roar! FreeForm is rolling into the new year with a two-day "Boss Girls" programming event, featuring fierce females channeling their inner warrior princesses. The stunt airs SATURDAY, JANUARY 14, and continues through SUNDAY, JANUARY 15.

The movie marathon highlights are:

Saturday, January 14
(7:30 - 10:10 a.m. EST) THE PRINCE & ME
Edvard (Luke Mably), the Crown Prince of Demark, shirks his royal duties to attend college in Wisconsin. There, he pursues med student Paige (Julia Stiles), while keeping his true identity a secret.

(10:10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. EST) 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU
A twist on the Shakespeare classic "The Taming of the Shrew," the story follows new student Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who wants to ask out cute girl BIANCA (Larisa Oleynik). But BIANCA can't date until her ill-tempered older sister Kat (Julia Stiles) does. So Cameron enlists "bad boy" Patrick (Heath Ledger) to woo Kat for Cameron's sake.

(12:15 - 2:55 p.m. EST) BURLESQUE
A struggling singer and dancer (Christina Aguilera) moves to Los Angeles and tries to catch her big break in a burlesque show, run by a former dancer (Cher). The film also stars Eric Dane, Julianne Hough, Alan Cumming, Peter Gallagher, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci. "Burlesque" repeats on Sunday, January 15, at 9:00 a.m. EST.

(2:55 - 5:35 p.m. EST) LOVE & BASKETBALL
Next-door neighbors as kids, Quincy (Omar Epps) and Monica (Sanaa Lathan) fall in love as teens and find that they share an all-consuming interest in basketball. Their individual abilities in the sport take them down separate career paths in high school and college, and the couple must struggle to keep their relationship alive as they pursue success as professional athletes. Also starring Alfre Woodard. "Love & Basketball" repeats on Sunday, January 15, at 11:35 a.m. EST.

(5:35 - 8:45 p.m. EST) THE BLIND SIDE
Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless black teen, has drifted in and out of the school system for years. When Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her husband Sean (Tim McGraw) take him in; the Tuohys eventually become Michael's legal guardians, transforming both his life and theirs. Michael's tremendous size and protective instincts make him a formidable force on the gridiron, and with help from his new family and devoted tutor, he realizes his potential as a student and football player. "The Blind Side" repeats on Sunday, January 15, at 2:10 p.m. EST.

(8:45 - 11:55 p.m. EST) THE HUNGER GAMES
Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. Pitted against highly trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson). "The Hunger Games" repeats on Sunday, January 15, at 5:20 p.m. EST.

(11:55 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. EST) JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE
Three gorgeous, popular girls from competing high school cliques discover that they've each been dating the same guy: the school's smooth and hunky basketball team captain, John Tucker (Jesse Metcalf). After comparing notes, the fuming trio conspire to teach Tucker a lesson he'll never forget by grooming a newcomer as bait to exact revenge on their triple-timing boyfriend. Also starring Brittany Snow, Ashanti, Sophia Bush, Jenny McCarthy and Arielle Kebbel. "John Tucker Must Die" repeats on Sunday, January 15, at 7:00 a.m. EST.

(8:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. EST) THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE
Against all odds, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and her fellow tribute Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) have returned home after surviving the Hunger Games. Winning means they must turn around, leaving their loved ones behind and embark on a "Victory Tour" through the districts. Along the way, Katniss senses a rebellion simmering - one that she and Peeta may have sparked. At the end of the Victory Tour, President Snow announces a deadly 75th Hunger Games that could change Panem forever.
