Fox's THE FOLLOWING Ranks as Monday Night's Highest-Rated Drama

FOX's week was propelled by strong performances from THE FOLLOWING, Bones and American Idol which led the network to rank No. 2 for the week among all key demos.

On Monday, The Following was the highest-rated drama of the night among Adults 18-49 and posted its second highest rating to date among Adults 18-34. American Idol was the highest-rated program of the night on Wednesday among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

FOX ranked No. 2 for the week among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

For the week, FOX had:

- 3 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL- WED (No. 5), AMERICAN IDOL- THU (No. 7 tie) and The Following (No. 15 tie).

- 5 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: AMERICAN IDOL- WED (No. 5), AMERICAN IDOL- THU (No. 7 tie), New Girl (No. 11 tie), The Following (No. 13) and Bones (No. 19).6 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: AMERICAN IDOL- THU (No. 3), AMERICAN IDOL- WED (No. 4), Family Guy ENCORE (No. 9 tie), AMERICAN DAD ENCORE (No. 12 tie), The Following (No. 15 tie) and The Simpsons ENCORE (No. 18 tie).

- 2 of the Top 20 programs among Total Viewers: AMERICAN IDOL- WED (No. 7) and AMERICAN IDOL- THU (No. 9).

FOX ranked No. 3 for the night in Adults 18-49, No. 2 in Adults 18-34 and No. 1 among Men 18-34. The Following was the highest-rated drama of the night in Adults 18-49 for the fifth straight Monday.

BONESposted a 2.2/6 in Adults 18-49 and grew by +18% among Adults 18-34.

At 9p, The Following (2.9/7) grew +21% among Adults 18-49 and +14% among Adults 18-34. The Following posted its second highest rating to date among Adults 18-34.

TUESDAY
8:00-8:30 RAISING HOPE: (A18?49: 1.5/4, 3.7 Mil Total Viewers)

8:30-9:00 New Girl (RS): (A18?49: 1.2/3, 2.7 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-9:30 NEW GIRL: (A18?49: 2.2/6, 4.3 Mil Total Viewers)

9:30-10:00 THE MINDY PROJECT: (A18?49: 1.6/4, 3.1 Mil Total Viewers)

8:00-10:00 FOX PRIME: (A18?49: 1.6/4, 3.4 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX ranked No. 3 for the night in Adults 18-49 and won the night in Adults 18-34. New Girl was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-34.

Raising Hope posted a 1.5/4 at 8p. At 8:30p, a New Girl ENCORE delivered a 1.2/3.

New Girl at 9p posted a 2.2/6 in Adults 18-49.THE MINDY PROJECT delivered a 1.6/4 in Adults 18-49 at 9:30p.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (A18?49: 4.1/11, 14.4 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos. FOX outperformed the No. 2 networks of the night by +64% in Adults 18-49 (4.1/11 vs. 2.5/7 for CBS) and +113% in Adults 18-34 (3.2/11 vs. 1.5/5 for ABC). Through its first six weeks, American Idol has given FOX the six highest-rated Wednesdays of the 12/13 season on any network.

The first Girls 'Sudden Death' round on American Idol posted a 4.1/11 in Adults 18-49 and gained +7% in Total Viewers week-to-week (14.4 vs. 13.5 Mil). American Idol was also up +14% in Teens from the previous week (3.2/11 vs. 2.8/11). American Idol was the highest-rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and most key demos.
