The first poster and promotional teaser trailer for the second season of popular and acclaimed Netflix drama HOUSE OF CARDS is now available to view, featuring stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.

The official description of HOUSE OF CARDS Season Two is as follows: "In the second season, Francis (Spacey) and Claire (Wright) Underwood continue their ruthless rise to power as threats mount on all fronts. Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara), an up-and-coming reporter and Francis's former paramour, is inching closer to the truth about his crimes. President Walker's (Michel Gill) billionaire confidante Raymond Tusk (Gerald McRaney) demands that Francis reciprocate political favors or face retribution. And Claire must confront the increasing glare of the spotlight as it eats away at her and Francis's once private existence. The Underwood's must overcome these dangers -- past and present -- to avoid losing everything, regardless of collateral damage they leave in their wake."

Of note, in addition to Spacey, Wright, Mara, Gill and McRaney, the second season of the series also features stage and screen names such as Mahershala Ali, Sebastian Arcelus, Kristen Connolly, Nathan Darrow, Sakina Jaffrey, Michael Kelly and Molly Parker, Jayne Atkinson, Gil Birmingham, Rachel Brosnahan, Reg E. Cathey, Derek Cecil, Terry Chen, Ben Daniels, Joanna Going, Boris McGiver, Mozhan Marno, Sam Page, Kate Lyn Sheil, Jimmi Simpson and Constance Zimmer.

The second season of HOUSE OF CARDS premieres February 14, 2014.
