Syfy welcomes filmmaking legend George Lucas (Star Wars, Indiana Jones) to the arena on an all-new episode of Robot Combat League airing March 12 at 10 PM ET/PT.

In the episode, titled "A Hero's Journey," Lucas makes a surprise visit to the Robot Combat League arena to watch his daughter, professional MMA fighter Amanda Lucas, in action. While Lucas is there, he lends moral support to Amanda as she preps for her upcoming battle as the "robo-jockey" at the helm of the powerful and impressive Robo Hammer.

The episode also features preliminary Fights 4 and 5 in the Robot Combat League tournament, which brings Victorious contestants one step closer to winning the $100,000 grand prize.

Each week Robot Combat League - hosted by wildly popular WWE Superstar Chris Jericho - features tournament-style battles between eight-foot tall robots controlled by a human fighter ("robo-jockey") and an engineer ("robo-tech"). Robot Combat League is produced by Smart Dog Media, with Craig Plestis serving as executive producer. All-new episodes air Wednesday at 10 PM ET/PT on Syfy.
