Northglenn Arts is excited to announce its First Annual Summer Movie Series, a free family-friendly entertainment option. Each Friday night in August, we will set up the big screen at EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park and invite the community to come out, relax and enjoy a movie under the stars.

The series includes a mix of animated flicks and favorite blockbusters: Frozen and Big Hero 6, newer, popular animated features; Maleficent, a live-action take on Disney's Sleeping Beauty; and Back to the Future, the older, classic, crowd-pleaser.

All movies will begin at dusk and are located south of Webster, near the skate park. Admission is free and seating is first come, first serve. Movie goers are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnics and other amenities.

Summer Movie Series schedule:

Aug 7 - Frozen

Aug 14 - Big Hero 6

Aug 21 - Maleficent

Aug 28 - Back to the Future

The Northglenn Summer Movie Series is made possible by the Northglenn Arts & Humanities Foundation, SCFD, Colorado Creative Industries, City of Northglenn and Dodge Signs.
