Deadline reports that Matthew Morrison, currently finishing up his successful run in Broadway's FINIDNG NEVERLAND, has joined the cast of CBS's THE GOOD WIFE in a recurring role.

According to the site, the actor will portray Connor Fox, "the AUSA responsible for imprisoning the last four Illinois Governors. He's tough, smart, and won't take a bribe, which makes him bad news for the Florricks."

In addition to portraying 'Peter Pan' scribe J.M. Barrie in FINDING NEVERLAND, Morrison is well known for his role as drama teacher Will Schuester in Fox's GLEE, which ended its final season last March.

He has previously starred on Broadway in Hairspray, South Pacific, and The Light in the Piazza (for which he was nominated for a 2005 Tony® Award). Morrison has also released two studio albums since 2011, with the most recent being Where It All Began - a collection of standards, many first made famous in Broadway musicals.
