FASHION STAR Finale Draws 2.5 Million Viewers

At 8 p.m. ET, the finale of "Fashion Star" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.5 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second in adults 18-49 by 20 percent (to a 0.6 from a 0.5).

At 9 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in the time period in adults 18-49, tied for #2 in adults 25-54 and finished #1 among those networks in women 18-34. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" grew by 20 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.0) and 11 percent in total viewers (4.8 million vs. 4.3 million). "Dateline" Built on its lead-in by 120 percent in 18-49 rating and 84 percent in total viewers.

From 10-11 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with BrIan Williams" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) scored its second-highest adult 18-49 rating in three months (since February 8), trailing over that span only the April 19 series-record rating with coverage of the capture of the Boston bombing suspect. In total viewers and adults 25-54, it's the #2 "Rock Center" in 12 weeks (since February 15). In the time period, "Rock Center" is #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC ahead of CBS's "Blue Bloods" in adults 18-49 and other key demos.

Week to week, "Rock Center" is up for a second straight week, with a 9 percent gain versus the prior week in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.1) and a 33 percent increase versus two weeks ago (1.2 vs. 0.9). In total viewers, this week's "Rock Center" is up 15 percent versus the prior week (4.778 million vs. 4.161 million) and up 27 percent versus two weeks ago (4.778 million vs. 3.752 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.6/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an Encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
