Esquire Network to Broadcast FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES Marathon, 9/1
Missed out on the action of Esquire Network's FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES? Now's your chance to see what all the buzz is about.
This Labor Day-which happens to also be the first week of the 2014 NFL season-Esquire Network will marathon the entire 10-part first season of FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES, the series that sparked a nationwide conversation about parenting and the culture of youth football.
FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES follows five teams in the 8 to 9 year old Rookies division of one of the toughest youth football leagues in the nation, the Texas Youth Football Association (TYFA). Throughout the 2013 season, coaches and parents express their belief that football teaches children valuable lessons of discipline and dedication. But in a league where participation medals mean nothing and winning means everything, the adults in Friday Night Tykes also grapple with questions like: Is the sport safe for young children? And at what price are we pushing our kids to win?
FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES' second season is expected to premiere in January 2015.
Monday, September 1 - Labor Day
FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES will additionally encore on Fridays from 8-10p e/p beginning September 5.
