Media General, Inc. ("Media General" or the "Company"; NYSE: MEG), one of the nation's largest connected-screen media companies, and FOX Television Stations, Inc. ("FOX Television Stations") announced today that "Hollywood Today LIVE," a one-hour, daily entertainment news and talk variety show, will debut coast-to-coast beginning today, September 14. Produced overlooking the corner of Hollywood and Vine by Media General's production studio, BiteSizeTV, the show engages TV viewers through social media while delivering the latest and most OUTRAGEOUS movie, TV and pop culture news, exclusive celebrity interviews and the hottest red carpet premieres.

"Hollywood Today LIVE is not your typical entertainment news show," said Media General's Head of Programming Tony Optican. "We've given it a fresh spin as part of our larger focus on creating original content that is unique and engaging. There has been a lot of buzz about the show, particularly from Millennials, and we can't wait to make our national debut."

"Hollywood Today LIVE" is hosted by a diverse cast who bring a contagious mix of chemistry and fireworks to in-studio guests and hot-button topics. They include Ohio native and seasoned TV host AJ Gibson, Kentucky native and digital personality Kristen Brockman, quadruple threat (actress, singer, dancer and choreographer) and Hollywood native Porscha Coleman, comedian and Oklahoma native Tanner Thomason and Las Vegas native and frequent red carpet correspondent Amanda Salas.

"We are always looking for fresh programming that skews to a younger Syndicated audience," said Stephen Brown, Executive Vice President of Programming for FOX Television Station Group. "After a successful summer run last year, we think we've found that in 'Hollywood Today LIVE.'"

"Hollywood Today LIVE" has a reputation for securing a unique mix of guests for in-studio chats, red carpet features, live remotes and behind-the-scene set visits. Celebrity sit downs from Tinsel Town's newsmakers and most interesting personalities have recently included Allen Maldonado of "Straight Outta Compton," respected producer and TV creative Brian Grazer, and actress Mira Sorvino, all of whom were highlighted in the show's digital edition.

The show's live production takes place each weekday, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. PST, overlooking the Hollywood Walk of Fame at a street-level studio allowing fans to watch and interact with the show.

"Hollywood Today LIVE" has interviewed over three hundred celebrities since its inception as an entertainment web show and will continue to provide unique opportunities for viewers and fans to actively participate both in-person and via social media. A dedicated in-studio "Tweet Suite" will connect guests directly to those watching from home viaTwitter.

"Hollywood Today LIVE" will air in 12 of FOX Television Stations' markets including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, and 33 of Media General's markets including San Francisco, Tampa and Indianapolis.
