Last month, BWW reported that Emma Watson was in talks to star in Disney's upcoming live film adaptation of the classic fairytale CINDERELLA. According to Comingsoon.net, the 'Harry Potter' actress has decided to bow out of the film.

Kenneth Branagh will helm the film which will feature Cate Blanchett in the role of the wicked stepmother. It follows a string of recent fairytale reboots including Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland," Sam Raimi's "Oz: The Great and Powerful," and "Maleficent," based on "Sleeping Beauty's" villainess. Production on the film is set to begin this fall with a planned release sometime in 2014.

Watson was most recently seen on the big screen in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," and will soon star in Darren Aronofsky's "Noah," and the Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg comedy "This is the End." Her next project is Warner Bros.' "Your Voice in My Head."
