For ONE NIGHT ONLY on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 9:30 p.m., Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre will offer an exclusive showing of Disney's NEWSIES. The event will be attended by special guests from the motion picture and national tour of the Broadway musical.

VIP tickets are $20.00 and include a Reserved Seat, 64 oz. El Capitan Souvenir Popcorn Bucket with Lid and 20 oz. twist top beverage. Tickets are on sale now and available at the El Capitan Theatre (6838 Hollywood Blvd.), online at www.elcapitantickets.com or by calling 800-DISNEY6.

Commenting on the announcement, Lylle Breier, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Special Events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, said, "NEWSIES is a beloved Disney favorite, and we are thrilled to offer El Capitan guests an evening they will never forget. Every El Capitan guest will receive a NEWSIES CD sampler, along with other surprise giveaways, making this an evening not to be missed!"

NEWSIES is a 1992 musical based on the New York City newsboy strike of 1899 and tells the story of a courageous group of newsboys, who become unlikely heroes when they team up to fight an unscrupulous newspaper tycoon. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by choreographer Kenny Ortega in his film directing debut. It features twelve original songs - music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and original underscore by J.A.C. Redford. The film stars Christian Bale, David Moscow, Bill Pullman, Robert Duvall and Ann-Margret. NEWSIES is rated PG.
