E! to Integrate E! NEWS & Digital Divisions

E! announced today that the network will integrate its "E! News" and digital divisions under the leadership of John Najarian, EVP, News and Digital for E! This combined operation will allow the network to align strategies and fuel continued growth for E! Online and flagship TV series "E! News." Bringing all content, social/interactive and product/operations together also enables the new group to more effectively LEVERAGE its strength in storytelling and news gathering, and provide a deeper, more engaging social and interactive "E! News" experience.

"Creating an integrated organization is an important step as we evolve the network's linear news strategy and multi-screen approach," said Najarian. "We are positioning the network to better serve entertainment and pop culture fans with an authentic, relevant, consistent voice throughout our news platforms."

As a result of this strategic shift, several key executives will take on expanded roles.

  • Romina Rosado will serve as SVP, Content for News and Digital, overseeing content strategy, all news gathering, reporting and curation of content under one team for both E! NEWS and E! Online, maximizing the value of news on every possible platform. Rosado previously served as VP, E! Online and has played an integral role in E! Online's record growth.
  • Gerald Abrahamian will serve as SVP, Product, Technology and Operations for News and Digital and is tasked with leading cross-functional collaboration, managing digital product strategy and driving new revenue opportunities that maximize the linear/digital integration. Abrahamian previously served as VP, Technology and Operations
  • Edward Zarcoff will serve as SVP, Digital Programming & Production, and oversee the network's digital production efforts and ensures high-quality, innovative video content 24/7 on all platforms. Zarcoff is responsible for the production of all videos on E! Online, as well as breaking news video content and branded video production distributed across E!'s partner sites and platforms.
  • Bryce Kristensen, VP, Social and Interactive Experiences, is responsible for aligning interactive and social strategy across E! NEWS and E! Online. He also oversees all of E!'s social accounts and on-screen experiences designed to enhance digital/linear integrations and increase interactivity on second screens. Additionally, Kristensen manages strategy and partnerships with all social platforms on behalf of the network.

Additionally, Jennifer Lavin will continue to serve as Executive Producer of "E! News" managing the day to day production of the show.

"E! News" remains the top TV destination for breaking pop culture stories, reaching nearly 18 million total viewers each month. "E! News" resonates with its young adult audience and delivers an average viewer age that is nearly 20 years younger than its competitors.

E! Online dominates its competition with extraordinary growth and momentum, including a record-breaking Q4 with 39MM average monthly multiplatform uniques, up 79% year-over-year, according to comScore. Additionally, E! has 49MM fans/followers across social platforms, excluding talent accounts. The network's average reach in Q4 was 87MM across TV and digital.
