Some of the most notorious criminals in the prison system are actually teenage girls who were locked up before they were old enough to vote. The worst of these offenders commit crimes so extreme that they are often tried as adults and locked away for life. E! goes beyond the headlines, with rare footage and exclusive interviews from behind bars, to recount four shocking stories of young girls convicted of unthinkable crimes. Plus we'll hear from the other people most affected by their crimes, the loved ones left behind, when the "E! Entertainment Special: WHEN GIRLS KILL" premieres on Thursday, January 19th at 10:00pm ET/PT on E!

Young love can be filled with excitement and happiness, but for 19-year old Rachel Wade and 18-year old Sarah Ludemann, it brought disastrous consequences. These two teenagers came from similar, very normal backgrounds, but when it turned out they wanted the same boy, the fateful situation ended in tragedy. Featuring an in-depth interview with Rachel from behind bars and behind-the-scenes revelations from others close to the events, E! recounts this horrifying story about two teenage girls: one who lost control of her own destiny, and the other who lost her life.

Natasha Wallen was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder early in life and spent some time in mental hospitals. During that time Natasha developed a dark fantasy world, and attracted a crowd of like minded teenage outcasts. One April night in 1997, a tragic clash of innocence and evil lead to a violent and horrifying conclusion for Natasha and her friends. Serving a life sentence, Natasha, the alleged ring leader who was once fascinated with satanic rituals, speaks out about her horrible past and now contends that better mental health care as a youth might have prevented her unthinkable actions.

Most of her life, Charlie Ely was a 'good girl,' albeit with very bad luck. From her earliest days, she got used to feeling abandoned and by age 18 was married to a 21-year old felon. The honeymoon didn't last long as four months into the marriage, Charlie's husband was sentenced to serve 3 years in prison for violating his probation. On her own in an unfamiliar town, Charlie lost her way and ultimately made a fateful decision that cost someone his life and cost the young woman her freedom. E! has a rare jail house interview with this 19 year-old good-girl-gone-bad.

A story so strange it has to be true; the girl who said yes to her mother's murder, and lived with the body for almost a month. On a cold winter night in February 2007, police in Lafayette Colorado answered an anonymous 911 call. Upon arrival at the home of 52 year old Linda Damm, they found Linda's 15-year old daughter Tess and Tess's boyfriend, 17-year old Bryan Grove, living in incredibly bizarre circumstances. The shocking incident generated national headlines and put the two teens away for life. Featuring behind-the-scenes revelations from those intimate with the events, E! recounts this horrific story about one teenage girl and the love that lead her astray.

Featuring exclusive interviews and first-hand accounts from the convicted teens, E! delves into these four tragic tales of murder to show how rebellious acts and toxic romances can result in lives in ruin. Tune in as we reveal the terrifying truth behind the headlines when "E! Entertainment Special: When Girls Kill" premieres on January 19th at 10:00PM ET/PT.
