Dr. Mehmet Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon and host of "The Dr. Oz Show," will appear as a contestant on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" with new host Cedric "The Entertainer" in episodes airing Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18.

"Millionaire" airs weekdays. Check local listings or go to www.millionairetv.com for time and channel.

Dr. Oz will donate his "Millionaire" winnings to HealthCorps (http://healthcorps.org/), a charity that he and his wife Lisa created to combat the childhood obesity crisis. The mission of HealthCorps is to fund mentoring programs in schools to teach young kids how to live a healthy and active life and to make healthier choices for themselves and their families.

Dr. Oz is guaranteed to win at least $10,000 for HealthCorps from his "Millionaire" appearance.
