Disney isn't just bringing STAR WARS back to the big screen - it'll soon be expanding its theme park presence.

"We're also developing ideas and designs for a far greater Star Wars presence in our parks," Disney's Chairman and CEO Bob Iger said in the quarterly earnings call today, according to Entertainment Weekly. "We expect to provide details about this sometime next year."

More details are expected soon, but Iger confirmed the size and scope of a STAR WARS section of the parks will be comparable to Universal's 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.'

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the Saga Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new, currently untitled film.

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.
