Disney Channel Is TV's #1 Total Day Network for 149th-Consecutive Week

For the week of April 14, 2014, Disney Channel stood as TV's #1 Total Day network for the 149th-consecutive week among Tweens 9-14 (374,000/1.5 rating) and for the 148th time in the prior 149 weeks in Kids 6-11 (457,000/1.9 rating) - dates back to week of 6/13/11.

Disney Channel defeated Nickelodeon by 16% in Kids 6-11 (457,000 vs. 395,000) and by 48% in Tweens 9-14 (374,000 vs. 252,000).

In Prime, Disney Channel ranked as cable TV's #2 network in Total Viewers (1.8 million) and extended its dominance to 465-consecutive weeks among Kids 6-11 (715,000/3.0 rating - 8+ years) and to 202 weeks in a row among Tweens 9-14 (546,000/2.3 rating - 3+ years).

24-Hour Disney Junior channel

24-hour Disney Junior channel, now in its second year as a publicly-measured Nielsen network, ranked as TV's #1 preschool-dedicated Total Day network for the 55th-consecutive week among Total Viewers (353,000), Kids 2-5 (172,000/1.1 rating) and Boys 2-5 (94,000/1.2 rating) - each week since 4/1/13 - and for the 43rd week in a row in Women 18-49 (64,000).

"Sheriff Callie's Wild West" ranked as the week's #1 series across preschooler networks in Total Viewers (644,000) and was the #1 stripped series across the platforms in Kids 2-5 (320,000/2.1 rating).

Disney Junior channel ratings beat Nick Jr. for the 55th-consecutive week in Kids 2-5 (+13% - 172,000 vs. 152,000) and Boys 2-5 (+32% - 94,000 vs. 71,000), 43rd in Women 18-49 (+19% - 64,000 vs. 54,000) and for the 54th time in the previous 55 weeks in Total Viewers (+14% - 353,000 vs. 310,000 - Nick Jr. tied for #1 during week of 6/3/13).

Disney Junior channel out-performed Sprout by solid triple-digit margins for the 55th-straight week among Total Viewers (+160% - 353,000 vs. 136,000), Kids 2-5 (+182% - 172,000 vs. 61,000), Girls 2-5 (+166% - 77,000 vs. 29,000) and Boys 2-5 (+194% - 94,000 vs. 32,000) and by at least double digits for 55th-straight week in Women 18-49 (+167% - 64,000 vs. 24,000).
