As previously reported, ABC recently gave a straight-to-series order for TEN DAYS IN THE VALLEY, a drama series that was to star Demi Moore and Kyra Sedgwick.

Today, a source tells Page Six of the New York Post that Moore has pulled out of the project once she heard it will air on a major network. They explain that the actress "dropped out when ABC picked it up because ... it was originally supposed to be a cable show. She only wanted to do cable or streaming. It's more 'prominent' to go to cable or streaming."

The drama will center on Jane Sadler (Sedgwick), described as "an overworked television producer and single mother in the middle of a separation, whose life is turned upside down when her young daughter goes missing in the middle of the night. Just like her controversial police TV show, everything is a mystery, everyone has a secret, and no one can be trusted."

The show would have marked Moore's first full-time television role since the 1980s. Kyra Sedgwick remains with the project.
