According to the New York Post, Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, has died at the age of 25 in England. The site reports that Police were called to her home in Wrotham, Kent today at 1:35 p.m. UK time, following a report of an "unexplained and sudden" death.

The BBC reports that Peaches was pronounced dead by the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

A statement from Kent Police explains, "At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden."

Tragically, Peaches mother, Paula Yates died of a drug overdose in September of 2000 at the age of 41. She was reportedly distressed over the death of Australian musician and actor Michael Hutchence.

Peaches, a British journalist, TV presenter and model, was married to British musician Thomas Cohen, the lead singer of the London band S.C.U.M. The couple has two sons, ages two and one.

The young mother had been involved in a "herion-fueled one-night stand" in 2010.

Bob Geldof has just released the following statement on his daughter's tragic death:

"Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?

We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. (Husband Tom Cohen) and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.""
