Darren Criss Talks Monteith Tribute Episode & More
In an interview with Cosmopolitan today, Glee star Darren Criss spoke about the mood on the set of the FOX musical drama following the loss of co-star and close friend Cory Monteith. "As I said on Conan, we're picking up the pieces," Criss shared. "Cory loved life and wanted his friends to be happy, so it's only right that we try and start to smile again. That's something that he would have wanted. I am just so happy that he got to touch as many lives as he did while we were all lucky enough to have him."
As previously revealed, the romance between Criss' character Blaine and Chris Colfer's Kurt will be heating up this season, with the possiblity of a marriage proposal on the horizon. Although the Broadway vet plays a gay actor on GLEE, he maintains that he never feels the need to show off his masculinity outside of the show.
"I know who I am. I feel bad for guys who have to flex their muscles," he says. "But hey, if that's the way to make yourself feel comfortable as a man-as long as it isn't antagonizing anybody-go for it. I'm okay with your getting a Miata to feel like a dude; just don't be a dick about it."
