Variety reports that DOWNTON ABBEY's Michelle Dockery is following up her prim and proper role in the lauded ITV series with a much grittier part in the TNT pilot GOOD BEHAVIOR, created by WAYWARD PINES' Chad Hodge.

Based on the Blake Crouch's Letty Dobesh novels, GOOD BEHAVIOR will center on Dobesh (played by Dockery), described as "a thief and a con artist fresh out of prison whose life is always one wrong turn and bad decision from implosions - just how she likes it. However, when she overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man's wife, she sets out to derail the job, launching her on a collision course with the killer, entangling them in a dangerous and seductive relationship."

Crouch and Hodge, who co-wrote the pilot episode, will executive produce.

As previously announced, Dockery will lead LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES at the Donmar Warehouse this winter.

The actress originally started out onstage at the National, where she eventually starred with Rory Kinnear in BURNT BY THE SUN and earned an Olivier nomination for her performance. She has also appeared in HAMLET at the Crucible, as well as the National's HIS DARK MATERIALS and PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY, the UK tour of PYGMALION, DYING FOR IT at the Almeida and more.

Aside from DOWNTON ABBEY, her recent screen credits include the TV movie RESTLESS, the film ANNA KARENINA, the TV miniseries THE HOLLOW CROWN and more.
