DOWNTON ABBEY's Lesley Nicol to Guest Star on ONCE UPON A TIME

DOWNTON ABBEY's Lesley Nicol is keeping busy between seasons of the hit Brit-drama.

The actress has officically signed a deal to guest on ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME. Josh Dallas, resident Prince Charming on the ABC fairytale drama tweeted: "As a Huge #DowntonAbbey Fan I'm very excited @lesley_nicol is coming to #OnceUponATime!"

Nicol eventually chimed in via her OWN Twitter account when fans began guessing as to which character she might take on.

"Think servant maybe!" she posted.

As of now, no further details on Nicol's role have been announced - BWW TV World will keep you updated.

On the midseason return ONCE UPON A TIME entitled "The Cricket Game" - Regina is accused of murdering one of the town's most beloved fairytale characters -- but only Emma senses that she may be innocent. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, after capturing the Evil Queen, Snow White and Prince Charming set about planning her public execution in order to rid the land of her murderous tyranny, The episode airs SUNDAY, JANUARY 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
