After a while, estate life must get exhausting. So what better way to mix it up than touring with a band?

According to the New York Times, DOWNTON ABBEY star Elizabeth McGovern and her folk-rock band, Sadie and the Hotheads, will hit the road in the United States. The Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, who has portrayed Countess Cora Crawley ever since the show began in 2010, was part of her band before she joined the show. Sadie and the Hotheads originated in 2007, and since then, the group has featured performances by DOWNTON ABBEY co-star Michelle Dockery.

On Thursday, the singing group's third album, "Still Waiting," will be released, with the tour kicking off on Dec. 4 in Washington. Just a month after that, Season 5 of DOWNTON ABBEY will premiere in the United States.

A pre-World War I British period drama, DOWNTON ABBEY is one of the most widely watched and critically acclaimed television dramas in the world. The international series has won multiple Golden Globe, PrimetimeEmmy and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
