RED OAKS, set in 1985, follows David Myers (Roberts), "who takes a job as an assistant tennis pro at the predominately Jewish Red Oaks country club in New Jersey and tries to figure out what kind of life he wants to lead."

As recently announced, stage buff Richard Kind will play David's father Sam Myers, who has different expectations for his son; he wants him to become an accountant. But their relationship changes when Sam thinks he could be dying of a heart attack and reveals a series of secrets to David.

Roberts' other upcoming projects include Alt, Kill Your Friends, Good Kids and Just Jim. He recently appeared in Benny & Jolene, 22 Jump Street, Neighbors, Premature, The Double, Jane Eyre, Submarine, the TV series Skins, and more.
