Written and executive produced by Brian Koppelman and David Levien and Andrew Ross Sorkin, BILLIONS is a fictional drama that takes a forensic look at the world of high finance by tracking the approaching collision between two titanic figures - the hard charging, whip-smart U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhodes (Giamatti), and the brilliant, ambitious hedge fund king, Bobby "Axe" Axelrod (Lewis).

Rashad will play 'Kate', described as "a smart, ambitious young professional who is working at the U.S. Attorney's Office."

Acclaimed director Neil Burger (The Illusionist, Divergent, Limitless) has signed on to direct the drama pilot, which will be filmed in New York in early 2015.

Among Rashad's TV credits are Elementary, Smash, THE GOOD WIFE and the TV movie adaptation of Steel Magnolias. The actress last appeared on Broadway opposite Orlando Bloom in Romeo and Juliet last year. She has also graced the stage in THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL and Stick Fly, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award in 2012.
