Comedian Trae Crowder along with Spondoolie Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television have sold a pilot script plus penalty to FOX Network. This is the first pilot deal for the comedian who will also star in the half-hour single-camera comedy. The story will be inspired by the comedian's personal life. His worlds collide when Trae, who grew up a Liberal Redneck in a sea of Red State conservatism, returns to his Tennessee home-town to start a job at an energy research facility with his liberal California wife in tow.

In addition to starring on the show, Crowder will be a co-executive producer on the project, writing the script with executive producer/writer John Enbom. Rob Thomas, Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge will also serve as executive producers.
Trae Crowder has recently earned national attention for his "Liberal Redneck" series of viral videos on Facebook. The video series which began in May 2016 has generated more than 60 million views and landed Crowder a weekly correspondent feature with the New York Daily News. Crowder was profiled on ABC's Nightline, CNN TONIGHT WITH DON LEMON and was a season finale guest on HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher.

Crowder, along with his comedy touring partners, Drew Morgan and Corey Ryan Forrester, co-authored a top-selling book published October 4, 2017 by Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster: The Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin' Dixie Outta the Dark. The trio of political satirists and stand-up comedians are currently touring nationally in clubs and theaters as the wellRED comedy tour.

Crowder is represented by Nat Goldberg at Arsonhouse Entertainment, Valentijn Sloot and Rich Super at Super Artist Agency and Bradley Garrett at Cohen Gardner LLP.
