Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and Top Entertainment Personality Mario Lopez Renew and Expand Long-Term Deal

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment (CCM+E), the leading media company in America with a greater reach than any radio or television outlet, today announced a new and expanded long-term agreement with Mario Lopez, multi-platform entertainment personality and host of the Emmy Award-winning Syndicated television program "Extra." Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

As part of the agreement, Lopez and his wife/co-host Courtney Lopez will continue hosting On with Mario Lopez, which launched into national syndication with Premiere Networks in April 2012 and reaches more than three million weekly listeners on nearly 60 stations nationwide, including 104.3 MYfm/KBIG-FM in Los Angeles, 93.9 MYfm/WLIT-FM in Chicago and Mix 106.1/WISX-FM in Philadelphia. In the past year, the program has experienced double-digit audience growth: +67% with Women 25-54 and +58% with Women 18-49. In addition, CCM+E will expand the successful iHeartRadio Countdown weekend program to reach Hot Adult Contemporary (Hot AC) stations with Lopez as host. Beginning in September, Lopez and Courtney will welcome a different A-list artist or celebrity each week to count down the top 20 Hot AC songs on iHeartRadio's Ultimate chart, which incorporates iHeartRadio airplay, top weekly song/artists from user-generated iHeartRadio Custom stations, weekly listener "thumbs-up," social and sales data. In addition to airing on Hot AC stations nationwide, the iHeartRadio Countdown with Mario Lopez will also be available on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio mobile app, Clear Channel's all-in-one free digital listening service.

Lopez, who has hosted live iHeartRadio theater performances in Los Angeles for artists such as Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran, will also continue to work with CCM+E on a variety of multimedia projects and events, such as the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which returns to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 19 and 20.
