According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christina Ricci will guest star in one episode the fourth season of The Good Wife on CBS. She will play a "controversial comedienne needing Lockhart/Gardner's help."

The actress joins a season packed with big stars, including Kristin Chenoweth, Nathan Lane, Maura Tierney, Amanda Peet, Marc Warren and Miriam Shor, plus Brian Dennehy, who was recently added to the roster.

Ricci last appeared on television in ABC's Pan Am as Maggie Ryan. As a young screen actress, Ricci played Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family films, as well as Kat Harvey in Casper. In her later career, she appeared in The Ice Storm, Buffalo '66, The Opposite of Sex, Sleepy Hollow, Monster, Penelope, Black Snake Moan and more.

Ricci has appeared on Broadway in The 24 Hour Plays 2003 and 2004, as well as Mandy Bloom in Time Stands Still in 2010. Her Off-Broadway credits include Classic Stage Company's A Midsummer Night's Dream this year.

The fourth season of The Good Wife premieres Sunday, Sept. 30 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
