Kellyann Chippendale's short film "Getting Meisnered" has become an official selection of the Monaco International Film Festival and will be featured as the festival's Angel Film Awards opening night mainstage screeningDecember 4, 2015, in Monte Carlo.

Actress-Director-Writer-Producer Chippendale and her film recently won a "Women Filmmakers" award at the IndieFEST in La Jolla, California, and is an official selection at The San Francisco International New Concept Film Festival Awards ceremony Sunday November 22, 2015.

In "Getting Meisnered", Chippendale has created a compelling 'slice of the actor's life' film that captures dynamic young actors in an acting class exercise designed to teach the principles of The Meisner Technique, developed by legendary teacher-director Sanford Meisner.

As aquadruple threat, Chippendale not only directs the piece, but is also the producer, writer, and one of the actors on screen, in a cast led by Christopher Leibe, with Kat Crawley and Keleigh Kremers.

Chippendale will also be utilizing those talents in a new documentary film "Making Monaco Movie Magic" which she will begin shooting at the Monaco festival next month, while also using previously shot sequences from her recent visit to The Cannes Film Festival.

Her acting work embraces various venues in television and on stage, while she continues an active career as a standup comedian currently performing at THE COMEDY Store in Hollywood, The Laugh Factory in Las Vegas and Harrah's in Laughlin, Nevada.

Kellyann Chippendale is a native of New Jersey, 8 miles outside of NYC, now living in West Toluca Lake, California, where she is putting the finishing touches on her first book publication "L'Amour et La Vie", combining her poetry and photography in a magnificent montage of what she calls "an expansive elaboration on all my creative pursuits, as I attempt to highlight all there is in the world about love and life."
