SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES delivered its largest audience since this season's opening episode on Sept. 19 and its highest adult 18-49 rating since October, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, Dec. 5

SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES was first in households (6.4/10), viewers (10.64m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08). SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES posted its largest audience since Sep. 19, 2012 (the opening episode of this edition of SURVIVOR), its best adults 18-49 ratings since Oct. 3 and its best adults 25-54 rating since Oct. 24.

The two-hour finale of SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES will be broadcast Sunday, Dec. 16 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).

Eighteen castaways will compete on SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES when the Emmy Award-winning series returns on Wednesdays. Three of the 18 castaways are former players who were medically evacuated from the game and are returning to finish what they started. Fifteen castaways are new to the competition.

Surrounded by water, SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES will prominently feature marine-based challenges. For the first time in eight years, castaways will be divided into three tribes named after animals in the region: Kalabaw (“Water Buffalo”), Tandang (“Rooster”) and Matsing (“Monkey”). The tribes feature individuals from different backgrounds competing for the same ultimate goal: to be Sole Survivor.
