CBS's SUPER BOWL GREATEST COMMERICALS Delivers Largest Audience Since 2010

CBS's Super Bowl GREATEST COMMERCIALS delivered its largest audience and best adults 18-49 rating since 2010, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, Jan. 30.

SUPER BOWL GREATEST COMMERCIALS (S) (6.2/09, 9.87m) averaged 2.9/07 in adults 25-54 and 2.1/06 in adults 18-49. Compared to the same special on the same night last year, CBS was up +17% in households (from 5.3/08), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/06) and added +1.29m viewers (from 8.58m, +15%). Super Bowl GREATEST COMMERCIALS delivered its best performances in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Feb. 3, 2010.

SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS 2013 is an interactive countdown special where viewers will be able to vote LIVE on CBS.com via Facebook and Twitter for their favorite Super Bowl Commercials. The special, hosted by Boomer Esiason, Analyst for CBS Sports' NFL pre-game show THE NFL TODAY, and Aisha Tyler, co-host of THE TALK, was broadcast Wednesday, Jan. 30 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Sponsors present their best commercials during the Super Bowl, and the big game wouldn't be quite the same without them. For the advertising community, the Super Bowl is their Super Bowl, and often creates commercials specifically for the enormous viewership that the game provides. For many, watching the commercials is the most entertaining part of the Super Bowl. Advertisers try to get their money's worth by rolling out their most creative and innovative spots. This one-hour special, now in its 13th year, will originate from Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans, home of "Super Bowl XLVII."
