CBS News' FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is first in viewers (+9%, 3.76m from 3.44m) and is delivering a 0.8/04 in adults 25-54 (tied for second), according to Nielsen most current ratings.

The May 1 broadcast was first in viewers (3.62m) and delivered a 0.7/04 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION is up +22% in viewers (from 2.98m). Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 78.31% of the CBS affiliates.

On the broadcast, John Dickerson interviewed then-Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump's convention manager, Paul Manafort, and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). This week's political panel included CBS News Contributor and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan, CBS News Political Analyst and Slate's Jamelle Bouie and Molly Ball and Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic. The broadcast also featured a look at the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner.
