CBS News' FACE THE NATION drew more than 3.1 million viewers (3.14m) according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings on Sept. 27. (Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 57.4% of the CBS affiliates and FACE THE NATION was delayed in New York City.)
The Sept. 27 broadcast featured the first interview with Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) following his retirement announcement. Host John Dickerson also spoke with Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Republican presidential candidate Gov. John Kasich (R-OH). This week's panel of analysts included Kimberley Strassel of the Wall Street Journal; CBS News Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes; Susan Page of USA Today; and Ed O'Keefe of The Washington Post.
