CBS THIS MORNING Posts Significant Gains in Viewers

For the week ending April 10, CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning news broadcast to post year-to-year gains in adults 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/07 from 0.8/06), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, as well as viewers (+15%, 3.53m from 3.09m) and women 25-54 (+11%, 1.0/07 from 0.9/06) according to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings. CBS THIS MORNING added +460,000 viewers, closing the viewership gap with NBC by 600,000 viewers compared to last year.

Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING continues to be the only network morning news program to post a viewer gain (+8%, 3.34m from 3.10m), and the only program to maintain its adults 25-54 rating compared to a year ago (0.9/07).

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY

On April 11, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY posted significant year-to-year percentage gains in adults 25-54 (+25%, 0.5/04 from 0.4/03), as well as viewers (+14%, 1.96m from 1.71m), and was the only Saturday morning network news broadcast to post gains in either measure. CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY added +250,000 viewers, closing the viewership gap with NBC by 400,000 viewers compared to last year.

Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is up +20% in adults 25-54 (0.6/04 from 0.5/04), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, and +7% in viewers (2.12m from 1.97m), and is the only Saturday morning network news broadcast posting gains in either measure.
