CBS Sweeps Every Hour on Wednesday in Viewers and Key Demos

CBS swept every hour in viewers and key demographics on Wednesday, with SURVIVOR, Criminal Minds and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation all posting week-to-week growth in key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 7.

SURVIVOR was first in viewers (9.82m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.4/08). Survivor was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.1/09), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/07) and added +120,000 viewers (from 9.70m, +1%) compared to last week. Survivor topped "American Idol Wednesday" in their common hour for the seventh straight week in viewers, ninth consecutive week in key demos.

At 9:00 PM, Criminal Minds was first in viewers (10.43m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). Criminal Minds was up +10% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/06) and added +130,000 viewers (from 10.30m, +1%) compared to last week. Criminal Minds was the night's #1 program in viewers.

At 10:00 PM, the season finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was first in viewers (9.92m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06). Compared to last week, CSI was up +12% in both adults 18-49 (from 1.7/05) and adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07). Compared to last year's season finale (on May 15, 2013), CSI added +390,000 viewers (from 9.53m, +4%).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (10.06m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). CBS was first for the second straight night in these measures and for the second consecutive Wednesday.
