CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD posted year-to-year gains in viewers and was the #1 Sunday morning news program with viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 13.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.98m viewers and a 1.4/08 with adults 25-54 - the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in viewers (from 5.55m) and even in adults 25-54 compared to the same day last year.

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +6% in viewers (6.01m from 5.66m) and even in adults 25-54 (1.5/07) compared to last year.

Sunday's broadcast featured Mo Rocca's report on new developments that could lead to potential treatment for those experiencing the early onset of Alzheimer's disease. Also on the broadcast was Anthony Mason's profile of Pharrell Williams, Martha Teichner's interview with architect Moshe Safdie, Lee Cowan's story on Hollywood stunt men and women, and Nancy Giles report on Streit's matzo factory.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
