CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, posted year-to-year growth in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for July 10.

Anchored by Charles Osgood, the broadcast delivered 5.25 million viewers and a 1.2/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +6% in viewers (from 4.97m) and +9% in adults 25-54 (from 1.1/07).

Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program, delivering 6 million viewers and a 1.3/07 with adults 25-54.

Sunday's broadcast featured reports on the aftermath of shootings in Dallas, Baton Rouge and Minneapolis; Tracy Smith's interview with photographer Arthur Grace who spent 30 years documenting the life of the late Robin Williams; Rita Braver's report on Bill Nye, "The Science Guy;" Michelle Miller's look at the National Blues Museum in St. Louis; David Turecamo's story on machines in Paris that dispense short stories; Mark Strassmann's piece on the growing trend of city dwellers moving to suburban neighborhoods that feature farms as a centerpiece; and Anthony Mason's interview of music legend Sir Elton John.
