CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, posted a +6% year-to-year gain in viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 20.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.90 million viewers (up +6% from 5.56m a year ago) and a 1.3/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was the #1 Sunday morning news broadcast in viewers and adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is delivering 6 million viewers and a 1.3/07 with adults 25-54 and remains the #1 Sunday morning news program in both categories.

Mo Rocca anchored Sunday's broadcast, which featured Lee Cowan's interview with singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani; Erin Moriarty's look at Hulk Hogan's successful lawsuit against the website Gawker for publishing a clip of a sex tape; Jim Axelrod's report on the works of artist Norman Lewis; Rita Braver's chat with actor/comedian Steve Martin and singer-songwriter Edie Brickell about "Bright Star," the Broadway musical they co-wrote; Conor Knighton's look at Everglades National Park; Rocca's tour of the CBS Broadcast Center; Steve Hartman's report on a nurse and patient reversing roles and reuniting after many years; and Iraq war veteran Matt Gallagher's commentary on the 13th anniversary of that conflict.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
