CBS SUNDAY MORNING Delivers More Than 6.6 Million Viewers

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD posted double-digit percentage increases in viewers and adults 25-54, and delivered and remained the #1 Sunday morning news program, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 10. The broadcast posted its best delivery in viewers and adults 25-54 since March 1, 2015.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 6.61 million viewers and a 1.6/08 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, the broadcast was up +23% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/07) and +11% in viewers (from 5.97m).

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is #1 in viewers and adults 25-54. The CBS News broadcast is delivering 5.78 million viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54.

Sunday's broadcast featured Mark Strassmann's report on sperm donor dads who meet some of the - sometimes many - children they father; Martha Teichner's profile of Grammy nominated singer Rhiannon Giddens; Lee Cowan's report on the past and future of the Goodyear Blimp; Mo Rocca's interview with legendary TV producer Norman Lear; Rita Braver's look at a new exhibit on the life, letters and works of Ernest Hemingway at the Morgan Library in New York City; and Steve Hartman's piece on a 15-year-old weightlifter who could be this country's great hope for an Olympic medal.
