CBS News' FACE THE NATION Draws Nearly 4 Million Viewers

CBS News' FACE THE NATION drew nearly 4 million viewers (3.79m) and 0.7/04 in adults 25-54 according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings on Oct. 11. FACE THE NATION was first in viewers, posting its largest audience since May 31, 2015 and best adults 25-54 rating since August 23, 2015. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 57.4% of the CBS affiliates.

Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION was up +7% in viewers (from 3.53m). Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is first in viewers (3.46m). Compared to last season, FACE THE NATION is up +2% in viewers (from 3.41m).

The Oct. 11 broadcast featured a sit down interview with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Host John Dickerson also spoke with Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson and Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-SC). This week's panel of analysts included Ruth Marcus and Robert Costa of The Washington Post; Ron Fournier of The National Journal; and Ben Domenech of The Federalist. Dickerson also discussed the terrorist attack in Turkey and the situation in Syria with David Ignatius of The Washington Post and former National Security Adviser Tom Donilon.
