CBS News Announces Additional Campaign 2016 Coverage Plans

CBS News is announcing today additional CAMPAIGN 2016 coverage plans on all platforms surrounding Election Day.

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY will expand to one hour (6:30-7:30 PM, ET) tonight, Nov. 7 and Wednesday, Nov. 9 on the CBS Television Network. CBS THIS MORNING will add an hour of coverage for East Coast stations (7:00-10:00 AM) on Wednesday, Nov. 9 and will be live for the West Coast (7:00-9:00 AM).

CBS News will begin wall-to-wall Election Day coverage tomorrow, Nov. 8 at 6:00 AM, ET on CBSN, CBS News' 24/7 streaming news service, which will offer continuing coverage throughout the day and overnight into Wednesday morning. CBS THIS MORNING kicks off the Network's television coverage at 7:00 AM.

CBS News' Election Night coverage starts at 6:30 PM, ET with the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY. Pelley; CBS THIS MORNING co-hosts Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell; FACE THE NATION anchor and CBS News political director John Dickerson; CBSN anchor and CBS News correspondent Elaine Quijano; and CBS News contributor Bob Schieffer will lead the Network's comprehensive coverage and analysis on all platforms from the Campaign 2016: Election Night headquarters from 7:00 PM-2:00 AM, ET.
