The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY continues to post season-to-date audience gains, adding the most viewers among the network evening news broadcasts, according to Nielsen most current ratings through Jan. 29.

Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is up +4% in viewers (7.58m from 7.30m) and maintained its rating in adults 25-54 (1.5/06) - the demographic most important to those who advertise in news - compared to last season.

For the week ending Jan. 29, the CBS broadcast tied ABC in the key adults 25-54 demographic (1.8/06) on Monday. On last week's broadcasts, Chip Reid investigated accusations that the Wounded Warrior Project spends lavishly on staff and wastes donation money; Dr. Jon LaPook had the latest on the Zika virus; John Dickerson previewed his FACE THE NATION interview with Donald Trump; and Adrianna Diaz reported on state officials in Flint, Mich., who were warned about the water crisis long before residents.
